Ideas tweaked

Rabbit trails

Time derails

Games to play

Will waste the day

Get that mouse

Out of my house….

Through the Dark

Candle light

Beckons us near

In darkest night

Calming fear

There is a Light

That leads the way

Through the night

And back to day

RAINBOW

Promise covers our lives

From before we remember

Even when we no longer recollect

But it remains

A line of demarcation

Dividing hope and fear

Colored in anticipation

Reflecting desire

With no visible source

No end we can reach

Distant

Blurred

Vacillate

Tiny Flowers

Tiny flowers

At your feet

Grow 

Hidden in the grass

At the edge of the water

Trampled 

By careless footsteps

Yet they are not crushed

Your weight compresses them

Into the dirt crevices  

Where they have taken root

The suns enticing

Will urge them 

To stretch up again
